About Pho San Jose Tully

Vietnamese restaurant, primarily pho

Pho San Jose Tully is a vietnamese in San Jose, California. It is listed at 1696 Tully Rd, San Jose, CA 95122, which places it among the local businesses of San Jose that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In San Jose, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 am–11 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (408) 255-8191. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 33 reviews, which is a strong result for a vietnamese in San Jose and suggests consistent service.

San Jose is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Jose is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Atmosphere ( 5): Nice, bright, clean, modern, and relaxed. Looks like a newer restaurant. Nice stainless steel cups. Service (5) : Excellent. All friendly, young, polite staff. Very good vibes. My server looked like he could be in a boy band lol Food (5) : Excellent! Why you may ask? Cause it was real food! We ordered vegetable egg rolls as an appetizer. They came quick and freshly made and hot. First bite I was amazed. I thought to myself, "Omg, Is this what an egg roll is supposed to taste like? Yes! It's so good. It's real flavor from the ingredients" . We also ordered the Chicken Pho and the chicken actually still had the chicken skin on it. Meaning, it was real chicken! (I personally don't like the skin so I took it off but it was delicious pho). Bonus: Tons of Pho places in San Jose, and a few open late night but they were all super overly crowded and small parking lots (we tried going to 3 other places and looked at them and left). But this place is open until 12pm and was pretty full but not overly crowded so you could sit down and enjoy the dinning experience with good service. If we ever come back to visit here and want Pho, we are coming back here. Highly recomme

5/5 ⭐ Just tried Pho San Jose and it quickly became our new favorite neighborhood spot! The Pho Special was excellent β€” rich, flavorful broth with a nice ginger kick that really stands out (exactly how I like it). I wasn’t expecting the hu tieu and their drinks to be this good either, but everything hit the mark. Super happy to finally have a solid pho place so close by. Definitely coming back soon!

We got food at their private event for family and friends so I'm unsure of how representative the food is compared to what they actually serve for paid customers, but this review includes honet personal opinions from our group. Started off good with spacious and neat floor layout accompanied with bright yet cozy and welcoming atmosphere. They have plenty outdoor seatings with a small play area for kids. Their space is ideal and accommodating to large parties. Service can use improvements but again, the settings of the event and new crew at a new work setup may not yield the best service experience. Food wise, we got to try many different dishes: grilled pork rolls (appertizer), specialty Pho, crab cake vermicelli soup (bun rieu), grilled pork and egg rolls vermicelli (bun thit nuong cha gio), filet mignon sizzling plate, and shaken beef with macaroni. We noticed all portions came with quite little noodle (no complain from me, but it might be a problem to carb lovers), except for the macaroni. Specialty Pho was decent when it first came out and was still hot, but I wouldn't call it memorable or outstanding, unfortunately. Bun rieu had a mild flavor; the broth was not salty (so ra

Came here a few days ago with some friends and got to try a bunch of dishes. Been to the other location so I’m glad this one is down the street from my house so I can swing by when I’m craving pho. The atmosphere popped with all the orange, the artificial trees, inside and out, & the fish tank. I went with the usual pho San Jose but added a side of smoked brisket and that didn’t disappoint. The food came out fast and hot. Keep in mind they’re still in the soft opening phase so there’s still kinks that need to be worked out but all in all, this will be the hot spot to be. Also the black sesame coffee haunts my dreams. I need to get myself that every morning before work just to function.

First review for Pho San Jose Tully. Went here soft opening day and fresh noodles were not delievered that day, but broth was still rich & warm. Orange juice was nice and refreshing, but table had soya instead of fish sauce. Although I did not need to use this since the pho San Jose was already good. They also have an outdoor area with Tetris tumble and a fish tank inside, staff and surprisingly very friendly and took our order patiently. Would come back here again whenever I have time.
